After spending a lifetime in an attempt to determine Judgement Day by studing the Bible as a coded riddle, yet another prediction has missed the mark.
During all that studing, he must have blown right past Matthew 24:36: "But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only."
Was it not clear enough?
Nay, evidently it wasn't. Maybe some good can come from that though, as God can turn it into what He sees as benefiting His will.
ReplyDeleteA coworker told me today that a friend of hers was sick with anxiety the last couple days leading up to Saturday, she worried so much about the world ending that she even threw up a couple times from the strain. And this was a woman that grew up to knowing Jesus and God's salvation through Jesus' life, death and resurrection.
Some will simply use this to scoff at the Christian message, but they were doing that before and will simply continue to do so. But, maybe, just maybe, others were struck by the real possibility of the world ending as we know it and not having a right relationship with God and our Lord.
If it can provoke some to seek the truth, then even more will be saved. Maybe even some from Harold Camping's church.
