Arizona Tragedy

The vast majority of Americans see the tragedy in Arizona for what it is - the actions of a deranged, insane individual.  The mainstream media sees it differently.  They see it as an opportunity to attack conservatives.  Over the next day or so, the media coverage will go only one of two ways:

• Jared Loughner will be found to be a right-wing nut,in which case the blame for his actions will be pinned to Sarah Palin, the Tea Party and conservatives in general.  This is the mainstream media's preferred outcome.
• Jared Loughner will be found to be a left-wing nut, in which case the blame for his actions will be pinned to George Bush's policies that led to Loughner's desire to lash out.
